The LBJ Library is accepting requests for press credentials for the Civil Rights Summit to be held April 8 -10 at the LBJ Presidential Library at The University of Texas at Austin. President Barack Obama will be joined by three former Presidents who will also deliver remarks at the Civil Rights Summit: Jimmy Carter will speak on April 8; Bill Clinton will speak on April 9; and George W. Bush will speak on the evening of April 10. Each day of the Summit will feature afternoon panel discussions followed by a keynote address in the evening. A detailed agenda will be posted to http://www.civilrightssummit.org.

Due to space limitations, afternoon panels and evening keynote addresses will be pooled. The Summit will be live streamed into a pressroom available only to credentialed press. However, panelists and key attendees may be available for interviews during the Summit. Please go to http://www.civilrightssummit.org/speakers to view updates on the confirmed panelists. To request an interview, contact info@echristianpr.com. Please note that no interviews will be confirmed until after credentials are picked up at the Summit by media representatives and are subject to change throughout the event. Information on wifi access, video and audio access via mult-box will be sent to media as credentials are confirmed.

Credentials: To apply, all media should fill out the Credential Application online. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. CT on Friday, April 4, 2014.
